Celebrating 15 Years of Strengthening After-School Learning

For 15 years, The Learning Trust has backed the people and programmes that make learning after school possible. What started as a small commitment to support community organisations has grown into a sector-building force that strengthens the systems, spaces and relationships young people rely on to thrive.
Since 2010, we’ve walked alongside After school Programmes (ASPs), practitioners, innovators and other partners to improve quality, champion collaboration and build a more coordinated sector. Through this work, thousands of learners have gained access to safe and engaging learning After school Programmes beyond the school day.
Marking this milestone is as much about looking back as it is about looking forward. We celebrate the organisations that have grown with us, the practitioners who show up for children every day and the communities that continue to shape our purpose.

Fifteen years in and our commitment to building South Africa’s extended learning sector remains the same.
